Service Corporation
Purpose To perform the charitable community services required or encouraged by the policies and the mission of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (the “Fraternity”), including:
- the development of affordable housing for elderly persons,
- the creation and development of a scholarship fund to assist African-American youth in defraying the cost of attending institutions of higher education,
- the implementation of a Guide Right program through which members of the Fraternity will serve as role models for youth;
- the development and implementation of other programs and projects which are consistent with the policies and the community service mission of the Fraternity; and
- to solicit and receive donations in furtherance of these purposes from individuals, business entities, civic and fraternal organizations and foundations.
